Milk prices trending down in Brazil, weakening the chain

After some people recently claimed Brazil would be soon one of the biggest dairy producers (and exporters!) in the world, well, let's say this was a bit of an exaggeration. W won't see anything happening as long as dairy farmers don't get the right price, and I cannot see the emergence of a Brazilian Fonterra before long and it will take much efforts to make dairy production a profitable activity, let alone improve standards of production...A large herd is a beginning, but much work is needed.
