Another concern for wheat and grain - Cold wave in Europe

Cold wave threatening wheat production in Europe, other grains too

"...a cold snap threatened crops in parts of Europe too, with Agritel noting that "in Italy, temperatures are falling, threatening durum wheat production", while posing a risk to German and Polish crops too. Temperatures in France itself, the European Union's top grains producer, were forecast to fall below -20 degrees Celsisus.

FCStone's Dublin office, flagging "some winterkill concerns", noted that "weather concerns are playing their part [in market prices] as we have extreme cold in both Russia and Eastern Europe".
