In spite of this blog focusing quite a lot on Brazilian agriculture (and being heavily promoted via twitter, email, linkedin etc), I find that less than 5% of the blog's readers are Brazilians, with visitors dominated by UK, US, Germany, France and Russia (in declining order). It's not only a language barrier because some of my posts are in Portuguese language. Interesting stats but far from being a surprise.
I'm planning to increasingly cover tropical agriculture as relevant to carbon emissions, soil erosion etc with focus on Argentina, Brazil, other Mercosur, Africa and SE Asia (esp Indonesia and Malaysia), so Brazil won't be alone for too long, but it will remain strategically important.
