Interesting goal, but is it feasible as regards road fuels? In particular, can U.S. corn meet domestic demand for transportation fuel's blending while leaving enough slack for food and feed demand? That's difficult to believe unless 2nd generation (eg cellulosic) bioethanol starts to replace corn as the main feedstock. As long as alternative feedstock is not a fact on the ground, corn prices are likely to rise further as firm demand from China will not go away.
